AKKAD – African Women Development Association is a community-focused organization based in Istanbul, Türkiye, working to create meaningful opportunities for African women and communities.

We believe that empowerment begins with opportunity. Through education, skills, entrepreneurship, leadership and community support, we work alongside women as they build stronger and more independent futures.

When women have the opportunity to grow, families grow stronger, communities become more resilient, and futures become possible.
